Bush looking for bump for SotU

If W thought he could get a point in his rating by getting fucked by a mule on TV, Karl would probably have him do it. What is his record? Isn't he now the lowest polling president in the history of polls? Wasn't Nixon rated higher during his impeachment?
Glad homeland security is around... Making sure the homeland is secure. Just not safe. Two major mine problems and now a chemical plant explosion in a month? Impressive. Most Impressive. Wait, no, Vader would have killed off the people in charge because of their negligence.
But I am pretty happy that Google said a big "Fuck You" to Bush Jr and his band of merry useless fucks when they came to request access to their search records. I can see them now - you already have illegal wiretaps, what the fuck else do you want, asshole? Ok, maybe that is much more my answer, but what the hell, a boy can dream.
And speaking of dreaming, you know you are playing too much WoW when you have dreams about what is happening in Azeroth. But I digress.
The SotU should be interesting. How does one spin enough to defend illegal wiretapping, a war that is far from over, and causing more deaths every day, the fact that he lied about why we went to war, the fact that he lied about the illegal wiretapping, major industrial accidents, and people going postal (I am sure this was undue duress as a direct result from Bushco's lack of leadership, ethics, etc).
And what is the deal with Iran. As if *right on queue* there is another international emergency to buoy George's ratings. "Well, fuck, Karl, Syria is looking less and less invadable every day, now what are we going to do?" "Well, Georgee, there is that other I-R-A-some-letter country, lets provoke them and see what we can do." Ya see, if we get to invade and occupy Iran, well, damn, we have a nice line from the mountains and India (because Pakistan is already half our bitch) to Med (assuming, of course, that Turkey remains compliant). All bow to W, the American Hegemon. We are at war with Terror. We have always been at war with Terror. And Drugs. And if you were not guilty, you wouldn't need your civil liberties, now would you? You don't support the terrorists, do you?!
